It does not take long to realise that Harry is a man of many hats.

Some may say “Gilligan” is more fitting. Then we could move onto Skipper, Professor, or Movie Star!
Harry is a man who tinkers with many things.
He spends many an hour designing, fabricating and constructing like a tailor. [Or perhaps an engineer, electrician, carpenter, and painter would be fitting too. Take your pick, he will have a go at anything.]
He soldiers on, through thick and thin and is always researching and defending what he feels to be true and correct.
He loves anything water related . Sailor is accompanied by fisherman, diver, and swimmer.
Beneath the fun loving Gilligan cover, there is a deep thinking, caring, and affectionate- husband, father, son, brother, and mate.
This blog I am writing in honor of Harry’s 61st birthday. [Hopefully it will be posted before he turns 62.]
Sometimes it is hard to decide which hat he is wearing, as he models and tests out many a hat. Sometimes the same hat has many uses. There are the days when the hat he wears comes home loud and clear. At other times the hat is an invisible one.
At the beginning of this month he was a birthday boy, so he deserved a birthday crown.
What has Harry been doing lately… what hats are fitting well, feeling comfortable, and expected to stay? Which ones would he gladly loose overboard and gladly leave to Neptune, in the depths of the sea?
A day in Harry’s life of retirement is never dull. He makes the most of everyday, slowly chipping away at the next most important item on the to do list.
Of course we could always talk about the shoes he fills. But that can be left for another day.

What a wonderful tribute to your husband Leticia, it is obvious how much you love each other. Enjoying life is such a gift, and it’s lovely to be on the fringe and share a bit with you. Happy birthday Harry, hope it was a great day, stay well and safe both of you, love from us in the UK.
